Happy 4th Rez Day, Zaara!!

Hello Everyone!!  yes, I know its been a little while since my last post.  Chance and I have been busy planning the wedding and just last night have moved our home so are still in the process of setting up our new land YAY!.... 

However, I found out this morning that it is the official SL Birthday of an amazing  and super nice designer we have amongst us!  Zaara Kohime, owner and designer of {Zaara} fashions.  And how do I know what an amazing designer she is?....  Well Chance took me shopping of course!!  {Zaara} was having a huge 50% off sale a few weeks ago and BOY did I add to my wardrobe!!   Not only was her store beautifully appointed, but the fashions were amazing!  So, I thought for her SLBirthday, I would focus my bloggerness on her today..   Hope you are having a super happy one, Zaara!!    Now to let just a few of the amazing fashions speak for themselves  ( BTW this by no means reflects the extent of {Zaara}'s designs in my closet..  *grins*  there is MUCH more!!)

Retro at the beach!

Ok.. have you BEEN to /artilleri/ yet?....  I should back up here a little..  A while back, Chance dragged me shopping (yes, he has to drag me often LOL but once we are out doing it we always have so much fun..   HE is the shopper in the family! =) )   We were looking for clothing for some photos he wanted to take and one of the series we were going to do was a 50s theme..   He immediately said.. "we HAVE to go to /artilleri/ Gabby.. this designer has the perfect clothes for this"  Plus I think he knew I'd like the store..   Needless to day, we had a great shopping spree that day!  I will definately have to blog some of those outfits soon!     If you are looking for something retro, rockabilly, or just super cool, you MUST come see this store!  The designer is Antonia Marat, an adorable talented young woman that I am so glad to have gotten to know. Besides clothing, she also has some wonderful "olden days" style furniture and other items.. You have to see it!  And Not only is she an amazing designer, but a truly genuine, funny and down to earth person..  Antie keep up the amazing work!

My most recent purchase is the swimsuit above.   I have a pageant coming up for Miss Sophisticated with Classic w/Style on Sunday..  and the swimsuit theme was 60's...  I walked into the store, and immediately spotted this awesome one piece and fell in love.. Not only does it come in this fantabulous pink, but blue, red black and more!   For me, I picked the pink..  *grins* specifically cause it went so well with this spectacular pair of glasses that Antie had in the FLF not long ago... Mid Terms.. *biting nails*

Ok so... like today?  we had midterms..   Actually,  I was really proud of ALL of us!!   from what I could see, we did awesome!   Even when we started to mess up a bit,  or had huddle issues, or got stuck, we just kept those smiles on our faces and kept posing and going!   Ania, Sakira, Nicki, Nickle, Uneeque, Jully, and Lopez,  Ladies I am SO proud to know you... as Sakira said, we're Sisters now =)  we made it through together and I am so glad to have had the chance to get to know you all!.. 

Just a note to our trainers:   Laylah, Lisana, Veronica, Taby and Debbie, you guys are amazing.. You know your stuff and teach it so well!!  Just think .. *grins*.. you made us who we are today =P

Prom Night!! - Creative Styling Event

Ahhh Prom night..    What an array of creative beautiful people we had on stage last night!!  Want to congradulate the winners!!

Everyone looked SO amazing!  and I love the turnout of people competing in these events!   So lovely!  We have got such an incredible amount of talent, beauty, and creative minds amongst us here at CWS!   Also, I would be remiss if i did not mention our one male contestant tonight, Luigi...  He had a stage full of prom dates!!     Great job EVERYONE!!!   Lopez, I dont envy you the job you had to do honey!  Thank you for the great work and Debbie, I have to say, your announcing aways gives me a grin!... See? its things like this that show we really are.. " Simply D'Best"  material *winks*

Me and my friend ARC...

Ok..   You know how it is..  Uber lag on the SIM..  one of the first things you need check is your ARC right?  right... so.. for class.. Yesterday, had to be 750 and under... well.. i thought i was gonna have a helluva time with that.. and at first, i DID.. but, managed to get dressed.. WITH shoes and hair.. and be at 689..   

Then I looked at todays..   250?!?  wow..  how the heck was i going to pull this one off?... I mean..  My truth hair is over 2000 itself =P

Needless to say,  As beautiful as my favorite hair is, i was not able to wear it for todays class.. nor my shinies..  HOWEVER!!!

I did manage to dress for class, and came in at 225  YAY!!   Did you know, you can strip down to just your shape and skin.. and your arc is really really low.. i think mine was 16...  Then i added a pair of sandals..   and some noob hair..   and i was good to go =)  Looked kinda creepy but..  it did the job i needed to do...

AND on another note, i finally FINALLY managed to get my Huddle EZ working correctly.. and .. (Veronica should be so proud)  I managed to make my own notecard *beaming* and added it into the huddle..  So all in all... other than my rl me being sick as a dog (walking pneumonia)  its been a productive day!!

and BTW..  Debbie did say we would all have gotten an A+ on the midterm if it was today (well first she told me D-...   think she was trying to give me a pixel attack  LOL love ya!)

It was SO unfortunate that I had to miss this show!  But, as they say, c'est la vie, oui?...  I heard from many that it went amazingly well and want to send out kudos to all who participated!! ** Applause**  Job well done =)

Danielle Fashion Show at CWS

Debbies Blogaspere: "Today's show by Dani went perfectly. All the girls really put in so much effort to look their best. Dani came backstage too, and made sure the styling were good, this is what the best designers do. Many will zoom in and IM if they want you to change something. Dani prefers to go closer and that's great. She was even in our group picture .It was also Izadora's first show, and I have to say that she made me feel jolly proud. Its always so lovely when you see a dream come true, and I know Iza loved every second. Also Janda was our centre. She is still a student, so is doing amazingly well. There is allot of pressure at fashion shows, as you want yo do so well for the designer and also the other girls at CWS.

Anrol also had the most lovely idea, and that was that in our bio we all wore Dani's free gift the buterfly dress. I do rather hope that she was happy with this splendid and kind thing, it really was super.

At the end of the show, I help with the video and dance. It was such fun.

..... *grins* makes me wonder if we are getting graded on our backsides!!    Actually, I am nervous, even though Debbie says we are all doing great..   Yes, our confidence is definately building, and for my part, it HAS been noticed!!  What a good feeling!! 

I DO want to say, my fellow classmates,  the trainers,  everyone has been SO wonderful!  I am loving the new friendships we are making and i really am looking forward to getting to know everyone even more!

Spooookyyyyy!!! Congrats winners of the Ghost Themed Event!

Wow!  Remember my last post about themed events, I mentioned loving seeing the creativity of everyone?  Ladies.. tonight? ALL .. each and every one of you, were way over the top!  AMAZING!!!!

This was my first time ever judging something like this, *laughs* and I have to say, THAT was HARD!!!  I do not ever envy the job of the judges thats for sure!!  Especially with the talented group we have here at CWS!  

To all the contestants,  You all deserve a round of applause.. Thanks for the shivers!!!  Gotta run, class in 30 minutes!!!  YAY!

LADIES!! Wow you were all amazing!And what a hard choice for Veronica!   The runway was PACKED Overfilled with beautiful creations!!  I absolutely love these styling events.. Get to see where everyones mind goes with the different themes and it simply amazes me!   We have got an incredibly talented , and of course stunning, group of people here at CWS! 

Congrats again to the winners and all the participants last night!!  One word for this.. Spectacular!!!

DUH DUH DUH!!! Learning the dome!!

BREAKING NEWS!! LOL well not really.. just trying not to fall off the stage and break our necks ..   Yes, we (me, ania, nickle, lopez, kiki, uneeque, sakira)  are at the dome learning the formation!  

Ok, the formation itself is really not difficult. .. its just getting that sync down!  I have got to give kudos to Debbie, she has the patience of a saint!!  And even said we did perfectly ( I did check her for a fever after that =) )  

Alrighty..  better get back and pay attention!!

I mean WOW!!   My fellow contestants were ALL amazing!   and they set the bar so high!  I truly did not expect this (even though you always hope LOL)  and am so thankful to everyone who made it possible!     Chole and Nicki you both looked amazing!  As did everyone there!  Nickle!  I know that judging job couldnt  have been easy...  *nail biting*  heck I'll find out myself on Wednesday..   but you did a great job.. *grins*  if i do say so myself..   Seriously,  thank you !!!

Ok.. so..   this was my 4th styling event..   And I have learned something from each of them!  I would definately suggest to every contestant to enter these.. Even if you arent exactly sure what to do.. Ask someone!!  Or watch closely!!    Learn that basic formation!   Take the free class.. one..  two..  Four times if you have to!   and PRACTICE the formation!!!   I promise you if nothing else you will have ALOT of fun!!!..     *grins*  Now if ya'll will excuse me.. I'm going to go spend some alone time with mon amour Chance, and celebrate......
